Community Relationships
We celebrate our relationship within our Community, in particular, the work with other primary and secondary schools sharing knowledge and best practice. We also work closely with local pre-schools and nurseries in order to share our good methods and to ensure a smooth transition as possible for children joining Early Years. We enjoy strong links with St Mary’s Church in Hayes and we celebrate our music within the community singing at various events, including our Christmas and Summer Fairs.
We work closely with the Hayes Kent Trust who have provided resources for our school crossing patrol and subsidised our Forest School provision. We are very lucky to have a great many parents who give so much of their time to help the school helping by volunteering for clubs, reading, fund-raising with the PTA or sharing their professional skills.
The school maintains contact with Hayes Primary’s alumni and other neighbours, friends and invite them to the many school events including Christmas and Summer fairs, quiz nights and concerts. In addition throughout the school year our school regularly support local charities who also need our community help.
