Gardening Club

In spring 2021, the PTA started supporting Gardening Club and got busy planting in the newly-prepared vegetable and fruit beds, on the lawn outside the school office. . 

Each week, a group of pupils help plant, weed, water and feed a selection of vegetables including runner beans (kindly provided by EYFS pupils) courgettes, squashes, peas and red cabbage. They also harvest fruit including strawberries, raspberries and rhubarb from the existing fruit bushes and help to maintain the bee and butterfly beds on the field
