Pastoral Support

Our vision at Hayes Primary School is to develop the whole child is at the heart of everything we do, to ensure that every child achieves their personal best. Pastoral support is an important part of that, and we work hard to ensure the children feel happy, safe and confident and with a strong sense of self.

Mrs Griffin, our Pupil Support Lead is available if you have any concerns for your child's emotional wellbeing. We want to work with you in partnership, and are here to support. If there are things going on outside of school, then we would always ask you keep us in the loop (such as marriage breakdowns, family illness, parental mental health, change in financial circumstances etc). We want to support you as a family, and we will always do this without judgement and confidentially.

There are lots of different ways we can support - signposting to parental courses, referrals for external support, team around the child meetings, direct work with the child etc.  We are here, our door is open, so do not hesitate to reach out.
